Spicy Red Pepper Hummus

Spicy Roasted Red Pepper Hummus is HERE!

Spicy ROASTED Red Pepper Hummus pairs perfectly with crackers, chips, and sandwiches.

Or if you are like me and can’t handle black pepper then you can totally cut out the spicy ingredients 😅

This is a delicious twist on a typical red pepper hummus that pairs great with crackers, chips, sandwiches and wraps.

Spicy Red Pepper Hummus

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can chickpeas rinsed
  • 1 tbsp tahini heaping
  • 1/2 lemon juiced
  • 1 tsp garlic powder or fresh garlic
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • sea salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • cayenne pepper to taste
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp oil divided
  • water as needed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400F
  • Cut up red bell pepper and place on a lined baking sheet with 1 tbsp oil, sea salt and pepper
  • Cook for 30 minutes
  • Once the pepper is done add it and everything else to a food processor
  • Add water as needed to help blend
